Sail to Empower Little Hearts – Children’s Bioethics Centre Charity Sail
We at Mike Vashisht Real Estate are proud to support and sponsor the ‘Children’s Bioethics Centre – Charity Sail’ 2023. It is set to be a day filled with excitement and giving back.
Hosted by the Sandringham Yacht Club on Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne Bayside, the yacht race is organized by the Friends of the CBC (Children’s Bioethics Centre) Auxiliary to support the Children’s Bioethics Centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
This Centre plays a vital role in facilitating ethical decision-making in emotionally charged medical situations, ensuring the best outcomes for children. As one of just three such centres worldwide, the Children’s Bioethics Centre stands for fostering dialogue, providing education, and conducting practical research in the field of paediatric bioethics.
The Centre’s programs have positively impacted the lives of countless children and their families, and we can all play a part in ensuring that this crucial work continues. Whether you participate in the yacht race or join in for the post-race festivities, this event is open to all who wish to make a difference.
Event Highlights:
- Honorary Sandringham Yacht Club membership day pass
- Sailing in the yacht race (no experience necessary)
- Post-race drinks & canapés
- A Royal Children’s Hospital guest speaker

By participating in this fantastic event, you’re helping Friends of the CBC achieve its ambitious fundraising goal of $50,000. These funds will support the CBC’s educational programs and allow them to appoint an ethicist who will coordinate education, provide essential literature support, conduct training sessions, and engage in meaningful research.
The “Children’s Bioethics Centre – Charity Sail” 2023 is a fantastic way to give back to the community while also having fun and meeting new people. The event offers an opportunity to support a cause that positively impacts the lives of many, especially those in need.
It’s time to come together as a community to support the vital work of the Children’s Bioethics Centre, and what better way to do that than on the open water, with sails billowing and excitement all around? Come and make a difference in a child’s life.
